Our Global Work

The Bahá'í International Community at the UN

The Bahá'í International Community (BIC) is an international NGO representing the global Bahá'í community. Since 1970, it has held consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) — one of the highest levels of recognition for a non-governmental organization.

With offices in New York, Geneva, and regional centers around the world, the BIC participates in international dialogues, submits official statements, and collaborates with governments and civil society to help shape a more just and equitable world order.
